We had space #9 at the park, which had a great 180° view overlooking the ocean. Weather was perfect most of the time with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s. We had rain the first night and then, 50 MPH Santa Ana winds the last couple of days, which made sleeping a little scary with the motorhome rockin' and rol lin' in the wind all night. Felt like we were going to be blown off the bluff and into the ocean!
We made several side trips including The Grove where Paul picked up his new Canon PowerShot SX50 HS camera (which, he loves!) the Farmer's Market, the Santa Monica Pier, plus Paul called on several of his 72 Advertising clients around the LA area.
We did NOT enjoy driving a 36' motorhome with a car in tow through LA's traffic, though. That was not fun! I think I'll avoid LA's freeways at all costs in the future.
